The Swindon Quiz began offline in 2006 the year I moved back to Swindon (yes, I moved BACK having previously left!!). Some friends were coming for new year and to keep us entertained, everyone was to bring a quiz. I made the Swindon Quiz. I subsequently used it in a few other situations and it proved popular (or, at least, people were VERY good at humouring me about it). I then developed the picture round of the quiz as this simple web-based game just to learn some jQuery and JavaScript. It works, but isn't great. Just some fun really
