Clearly PhoneGap, and Cordova are still required today in the mobile world, but when is it *really* needed? Did the web ever catch up? Do we always need to turn to a PhoneGap shell for all our solutions? **TL,RD;** I strongly believe in the concepts behind progressive web apps and even though native hacks (Flash, PhoneGap, etc) will always be ahead, the web, always gets there.
