Eventually, just as the snow and ice was melting away, there was some grit!
After February's rather poor cycle mileage (mostly due to the snow that I've not written about yet), and with some determination to make a habit of extended commutes and regular "training" rides, I've decided to set myself a goal.
After a week off with bad weather and a few days off with a bad back I was finally back in the saddle.
How do I get involved in this sort of thing? What is there to do? How can I make a difference?
I'm part way through writing a post about my thoughts on taking up cycle campaigning (whatever that might be), but some things have come up today that I want to note more immediately.
Winter isn't just cold and wet. It's dark! And this presents a whole new set of challenges.
In amongst all the technical learning I've been doing there's been plenty of other stuff going on.
