Some things on the internet are inexplicably hard. e.g. Bloom + MailChimp + Groups + GDPR fields ?♂️
As a developer, I think I'm coming around to the idea of the new WordPress Gutenberg editor. Here's my updated thoughts and reflections.
Gutenberg will be great for new projects going forward, but I've yet to be convinced that enabling it for all sites when they update to WordPress 5.0 is a good idea. So my plan is not to.
I just wanted to write - and, I'm sad and sorry to say - Gutenberg got in the way and I just wanted to turn it off.
This year's event was supremely well-run, full of quality content, and just what I needed as I head into a busy-looking year. Thank you to all involved.
