Last Christmas (2008!) I got given, by one of my Godsons, a Ginger Beer kit. It's been sat in a cupboard doing nothing for ages, even though I love Ginger Beer. During a recent tidy-up it came out of the cupboard and I decided to get it started.
I kinda imagined that these campaigning emails would just go to someone at Tearfund who would batch them all up and send them on to be promptly ignored. But NO! They really go people concerned. And you REALLY get responses.
My current list of extensions - more for personal reference, but worth checking out if you use Google Chrome - and if you don't, why not give it a go?

There are far too few articles in the press that speak with a rational voice about addressing the problems of society in the UK by actually trying to understand the source of those problems, rather than trying to tackle the symptoms. This is one of them.
